Scholastic Princess /Pirate Potty Books and Boon Potty Seat Giveaway

Getting ready to start the potty training process this year? We will be shortly, and I've come to find out that Allie doesn't want any part of it. Both of my boys were starting out at this age, but Allie just won't have it. For the time being, we're busy reading the Princess Potty book from Scholastic to help ease her transition from diapers to "big girl" panties.

Whether you've got a little princess or pirate, Scholastic has created a book with rewards to motivate your little one to use the potty. Both books provide a helpful, step-by-step story that introduces girls & boys to the concept of toilet training. Pirate Potty is a pirate-themed, toilet-training book that is fit for the little swashbuckler in your life!  Includes a pirate’s hat and reward stickers! Princess Potty follows the same theme…a toilet-training book that is fit for the Royal Highness in your life!  This book includes tiara and reward stickers!

Toilet-Training Tips:

• Use the rewards to celebrate your child's toilet triumphs
• Teach your toddler to let you know when they have to go
• Create a routine that gets your child comfortable with the potty
• Read through the Pirate/Princess book to help explain the process of using the bathroom
• Always give your child praise in their efforts 

Even if your child isn't ready to learn yet, the potty books will introduce them to the process in a fun storybook adventure. I love the little tunes sung in the book. My older boys got a laugh out of it, which motivates Allison even more.
