DuraFlame Stacks Giveaway- 2 Winners

The weather outside might be frightful, but the fire you have using Duraflame firelogs inside is oh so delightful. Duraflame has a wide variety of tools to keep you warm this winter including Firelogs, Fire Starters, lighters, and charcoal (which would come in handy if you happen to lose power during a snowstorm).

Duraflame is also the only choice for an environment-friendly fire. Using firelogs from Duraflame instead of trees saves trees. All the materials in Duraflame logs come from 100% recyclable and renewable resources. Duraflame logs burns cleaner with 80% fine particle matter, 75% less carbon monoxide, and 90% less air pollutants in their 3-4 hour burn time compared to that of burning wood from trees.

You might be questioning how using these logs can actually be more friendly to our environment. Trees are obviously the safer, more natural way to go. But, when you use wood from trees in a fire, 99% of their combustion emissions are greenhouse gases from non-renewable fossil fuel due to fine particulate emissions.  It's proven that Duraflame logs significantly burn less emissions of greenhouse gases by a whopping 70%.

We love using Durflame starters and logs to get us a nice fire outside. We have a little "firepit" outside from where we have made so many fires over the past years. It's become a tradition this time of year for us to head in the corner of our backyard, with our hot cocoa and cookies, and get a fire started as a family. My boys are constantly begging their dad to go out and get it nice and warm so they can enjoy the outdoors during the really cold days.

It'd be great to have these with you when you go to the deer woods or camping. Sometimes, it can be hard or time-consuming actually getting the fire started, and to keep it going. Duraflame logs will start easily, keep burning, and are a great way to build your fire up from.

Where to Buy:
Duraflame products can be purchased at a variety of stores throughout the US and Canada. Register now here to print a $5 off coupon for Duraflame firelogs, and stay up date on the latest offers and savings

These look great! Our heater went out last week, so you'd think I would be a pro at starting a fire by now, but not so much! I totally feel like a caveman, throwing in all my junk mail and old newspaper- really anything that will burn and keep my kids and me warm! haha!

Um, I haven't started my own fire in well, forever. As a kid my papers used newspaper and small pieces of wood. Now that I'm all grown-up my hubby lights all of our fires with Fire stater logs. deanenpr at yahoo.com

My husband always starts the fire, so I'm not totally sure exactly how he does it. I know he uses newspaper... This would be nice so I can start a fire without too much fuss (and give him a break!). =)

Lighter fluid and a match. I know, I know, it's not eco-friendly... Thanks!

We got our first fireplace a couple months ago! So I have NO IDEA how to start a fire. Once last summer at a campground, we unexpectedly had an opportunity for a campfire but no matches or kindling. We found some scrap paper in the car, lit it cigar-style with the car lighter, and carried it gingerly back to our tepee (yes, tepee!). That's my only experience. I think Duraflame sounds so much easier! :)
