Choose the Perfect Toy for the Holidays

Do you know what your buying your kids for Christmas this year? I'm sure your little ones have their list for Santa all prepared, but as moms, we want to choose the right toys that fit our family. And, sometimes, what kids want can really be unrealistic.

Just in time for the holidays, the Toy Industry Association (TIA) has released two new websites to help you find the perfect gift for your child for Christmas.





ToyInfo.org gives you the tips and advice to choose just the right toys for your family. This informative new site provides you all you need to know about the hottest item on your shopping list- TOYS. Stay up to date on the latest recalls as facts every parent or caregiver should know about toy safety. Feel free to take part in the discussions about toys and play with the real experts-moms.

Another great site is ToyAwards.org. You'll find all the hottest toys nominated for the 2010 Toy of the Year Awards(TOTY 2010). Not only are the toys that are featured given a thumbs up from experts, but from moms and kids as well. While your there, enter to win your choice of any of the awesome toy prize packages available!


My family has several of the toys that are featured in the TOTY Awards. I recently reviewed Harumika, and love creating outfits with Allie. I'm buying her a new kit for Christmas to add on to her collection as she loves it so much.
