CLOSED Food Fest PUR Flavor Options Pitcher Giveaway

Getting my kids to drink water hasn't always been easy. I know it's partly my fault for not enforcing it, but I hated spending money on bottled water that they wouldn't touch. And, I won't dare drink anything from the faucet, the water always has a smell that makes you want to just go and grab a coke. Thanks to the Product Review Place, I saw a post that PUR was looking for reviewers to try out the PUR Flavor Options pitcher. I'm not the healthiest mom, but I don't think think my kids should guzzle down sugar loaded, empty caloried juices with no nutrition all day either.

PUR Flavor Options is the first and only water filtration system to date that allows you to choose unflavored or flavored filtered water. We have tried raspberry and lemon, and they are great. My kids drink it, all of the glass, so I'm very pleased! Flavor Options uses the same filter technology found in other PUR filtration systems, and is available as a pitcher and faucet mount. The convenient flavor cartridges are interchangeable and come in four fruity flavors: Strawberry, Lemon, Raspberry, and Grape.

PUR was recently awarded as Consumers' Choice Product of the Year in early 2009. PUR pitchers are certified to reduce 2x more contaminants than Brita. Each filter in the pitcher will provide up to 40 gallons of water, and should be replaced every 1 to 2 months. At the top of the filter there is a little light that stays green when it's working like it should be. Once it turns red, you should replace the filter inside the pitcher. The typical price is between $14.99-$19.99 for the pitcher and a 2 pack filter can be purchased at Walmart for around $13.
